Biography
Toshiaki Kuri (S'93–M'96) received the B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, in 1992, 1994, and 1996, respectively.,In 1996, he joined Communications Research Laboratory, Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (currently National Institute of Information and Communications Technology), Tokyo, Japan, and is mainly engaging in the research on optical communication systems.,Dr. Kuri received the 1998 Young Engineer Award from the Institute of Electronics and Information Communication Engineers (IEICE) of Japan.
