Biography

Robert Giegerich received the PhD degree from TU Munich in the area of compiler generating systems. He is currently a professor of practical computer science and bioinformatics at Bielefeld University, Germany. His main research interests include dynamic programming methodology, analysis of RNA structure, and web-based bioinformatics services.(Based on document published on 8 February 2010).
