Biography
Martina Gerken (Member, IEEE) received the Dipl.Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA, in 2003. From 2003 to 2008, she was an Assistant Professor with the University of Karlsruhe. In 2008, she was appointed as a Full Professor of Electrical Engineering and the Head of the Chair for Integrated Systems and Photonics, Kiel University, Germany.(Based on document published on 6 April 2020).
