Biography
Ken Barker received the Ph.D. degree in computing science from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, in 1990.,He is a Professor of computer science at the University of Calgary, Calgary, AB, Canada. He is currently the Director of the Institute for Security, Privacy and Information Assurance, the President of the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS Alberta), and has supervised over 80 graduate students and research associates. He has published in access of 250 peer-reviewed articles. His research interests include database systems, system integration, data analytics, distributed systems, and the privacy and security of data repositories.(Based on document published on 7 April 2020).
