Biography

K. Peter Judd received the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, USA, in 1999.,Since 2008, he has been a member of the technical staff in the Optical Sciences Division, Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, DC, USA. His interests include the application of thermal and optical remote sensing for examining the dynamics of complex systems in maritime environments. This includes monitoring of marine traffic, the study of surface signatures and turbulence generated by environmental and man-made flows, and hyperspectral imaging for characterizing these environments.(Based on document published on 24 August 2017).
