Biography
Kelvin Kam-Lung Chong is a surgeon-scientist who studies the orbits, eyes, and their connections to the brain, body, and behavior. He leads a multidisciplinary team managing Thyroid Eye Disease (TED), IgG4-Related Diseases (IgG4RD), orbital to skull-base disorders, and tearing to Dry Eye Disease (DED). Driven by his vision on “Early Detection and Treatment Reduce Severity (EDTRS) and “Image & Immune-Guided, Intelligent and Integrated (I2GI2) management”, he establishes protocols, conducts clinical trials, expands therapeutic options, and enhances surgical indications and safety through local, national and international platforms.
