Biography
Yiu-Ming Cheung (M'88–SM'02) received the Higher Diploma in applied science from Hong Kong Polytechnics, Hong Kong, China, in 1982 and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ, in 1988 and 1994, respectively.,He was a Research Associate and Research Assistant with the NEC Research Institute, Princeton, NJ, in 1990 and 1992, respectively. He was a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow and then the Project Manager in the Physics Department, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong, China, from the end of 1994 until mid 1996.
