Guoliang Zhao received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the North China Electric Power University, Beijing, China, in 2015.,He is currently Director of power electronics research institute with the State Grid Smart Grid Research Institute Company, Ltd., Beijing, China. His research interests include power electronics and applications of power electronics in power systems.,Dr. Zhao is a Deputy Secretary General of IEEE PES Transmission and Distribution Technical Committee (China) Flexible AC Transmission Sub-committee.(Based on document published on 19 July 2023).
