Biography
Pierre Duthon received the degree in civil engineering and transport from the School of Engineering, ENTPE, Lyon, and the Ph.D. Thesis in optic and computer vision from the Clermont Auvergne University (impact of degraded weather conditions on computer vision systems in a road context). He is currently a Research Engineer with the ITS team working on various topics in link with computer vision, degraded weather (fog or rain), and artificial intelligence. He has previous experiences on several research topics in link with optics and image processing as optimizing saliency algorithms in road context, optimizing a camera-based luminance meter by spectral analysis or implementing, and developing deblurring algorithms.
