Biography
Qi Huang received the M.S. degree in high voltage engineering from Tsinghua University in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Arizona State University in 1999. He is currently the deputy secretary of the party committee and president of Southwest University of Science and Technology, and has been selected as an IEEE Fellow and an IET Fellow. His research interests include wide-area measurement and control of power systems, analysis and control of large power grids, information support technology for smart energy, grid-connected large-scale multiregenerative energy systems, and tunnel transmission.(Based on document published on 7 May 2024).
