Biography
Ya-Qin Zhang (F'97) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 1983 and 1985, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from George Washington University, Washington, DC, in 1989. He had executive business training from Harvard University.,He is the Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington. He is currently responsible for product development of Microsoft's Mobile and Embedded Division, including WinCE operating system, Smartphone, PocketPC, and other Windows Mobile platform and devices.
