Biography
Markus Rösch received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering and the Dr.Ing. degree from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Karlsruhe, Germany, in 2008 and 2013, respectively.,From November 2008 to June 2012, he was a Ph.D. Student with the Institut de Radioastronomie Millimétrique (IRAM), St. Martin d’Hères, France, where he developed superconducting kinetic inductance detectors (KID) for millimeter-wave astronomy. From 2012 to 2021, he was a Research Engineer with the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Solid State Physics (IAF), Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, where he led the systems group from 2018 to 2021.
