Biography
David Johnston received the B.Sc. degree in computer science from Manchester University, Manchester, U.K., in 1991.,He has worked as an engineer on a Formula-1 race team. He has worked on developing numerous industrial, cellular and local wireless products. He has been a direct contributor to the 802.11i, 802.16 and USB security specifications and has served on the executive committee of IEEE P802. He is a U.S. delegate to ISO/IEC SC27. He presently leads the Security Circuits group at Intel Corporation, providing physical security primitives including random number generators, cryptographic functions and physically unclonable functions, and engages in international standards development around those functions.(Based on document published on 27 May 2016).
