Biography

Ahmed Nafe (Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the German University in Cairo (GUC), Cairo, Egypt, in 2012, and the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2014. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree at the University of California at San Diego, La Jolla, CA, USA.,In 2018, he was an intern with Qualcomm Research, San Diego, where he was involved in millimeter-wave phased-antenna arrays design for 5G systems. His current research interests include analysis, design, and calibration techniques of mm-wave phased antenna arrays.,Mr. Nafe was a recipient of the GUC Scholarship for engineering study in 2008, ...
