Biography
Alexandru Agapie received the Lic. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from the University of Bucharest, Bucharest, Romania, in 1993 and 2001.,He has worked with the National Institute for Microtechnology, Bucharest, and the Fraunhofer Institute for Autonomous Intelligent Systems, Sankt Augustin, Germany. He was a DAAD Research Fellow with TU Dortmund, Dortmund, Germany in 2011, and a NATO-COBASE Research Fellow with Montana University, Missoula, NT, USA, in 2000. He is currently a Professor with the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Bucharest, and a Senior Researcher with the “Gheorghe Mihoc–Caius Iacob” Institute of Mathematical Statistics and Applied Mathematics of the Romanian Academy, Bucharest.
