I. Introduction and Background
Covid-19 pandemics demanded the forced translation to integral online learning worldwide, at all levels, for a period of approximately 2 years. The online learning is not a new concept but, until in 2020, it was rather theoretical, being applied only in limited areas; therefore, its usefulness was not studied in detail. The pandemics, instead, put us in a situation where online learning was the only way to maintain normality and to continue with the educational process. We all witnessed a paradigm shift which so far was inconceivable but, even if it was highly disputed, it proved to be useful. In this regard, our paper investigates the medical students' opinion about the efficacy of online learning in correlation with their psychological profile, evaluated using the Motivational Persistence Scale.
