I. Introduction
The technologies related to industry 4.0 are to deliver a better customer experience, achieve full integration and improve communication between devices, plan the lifecycle (product design until the final stage of the product), and apply the related characteristics [1]. Smart manufacturing systems (SMSs) present an advanced strategy that refers to a multifield physical system composed of intelligent machines, materials, products, and complex couplings [2]. High-fidelity cyber models mapping the real world are critical to filling the gap between the design and operation of SMSs.
