I. Introduction
The evolution of digital electronics leads to the large-scale adoption of digital signal processing since it has advantages in terms of power consumption and signal integrity. As the natural world remains analog, analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) are essential electronic circuits in read-out sensor interfaces for posterior digital signal processing. There are several ADC architectures and their choice rely on the characteristics of the signal to be converted and the design requirements, such as bandwidth, resolution and power consumption [1].
