I. Introduction
The railway systems have a crucial role in transportation in different countries, and the outstanding performance of those systems is critical, especially when it comes to the electrification perspective. Among the issues in railway electrification subject, assessing the influence between traction loads and power supply networks is a primary concern [1]. The enhancement of power quality (PQ) is a recurrent problem in railway power grids, and it is related to factors like several emission sources and catenary systems characteristics [2]. The waveform distortion sources are the traction supply substation and the rolling stock onboard power converters. Those elements are connected by kilometers of overhead lines characterized by peculiar propagation properties and practical issues [3].
