I. Introduction
Environmental awareness is becoming increasingly important these days, as climate change continues to progress. Pupils are taking to the streets to raise awareness of the problem and bring about change [1]. Among the controver-sial topics are plastics. They get their bad reputation from the plastic waste that cannot be biologically degraded when distributed in nature, as well as from the contribution they make to CO2 emissions through their combustion. A look at the European recycling of plastic waste shows that this is justified. As of 2016, 39% of plastic waste in Europe was incinerated, 31% landfilled, and only 30% recycled [2].
