I. Introduction
The protection of fixed-series connected transmission line (FSCTL) during the presence of distorted signals is very challenging due to the effect of noise present in the line current. Hence, a protection system which can conquer the disputes in the FSCTL and work successfully and competently under an extensive variety of fault circumstances would be an appreciable move in this observation. Various protection systems have been suggested for TLs utilizing discrete wavelet analysis [1], DT with wavelet analysis [2], Fourier analysis with k-nearest neighbor [3], Discrete Fourier transform with SVM [4], symmetrical component analysis with Walsh analysis [5], transient monitor index [6], synchrophasor measurement technology [7], wavelet analysis with ANN [8], spatial pyramid pooling (SPP) and hashing classifier (HC) with convolution neural network (CNN) [9], and covariance coefficients with cumulative sum [10].
