I. Introduction
The combination of mmWave communication and massive MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology in the key technologies of 5G can effectively reduce the high loss of mmWave signals in space propagation while alleviating the shortage of spectrum resources [1]. Traditional MIMO schemes use fully digital beamforming schemes, and each antenna needs to be configured with a RF (Radio Frequency) chain. In mmWave communication systems [2], RF components with high-precision ADCs (Analog to Digital Converters) and DACs (Digital to Analog Converters) will cause huge economic costs. At the same time, massive MIMO antenna arrays [3] will also face problems such as high power consumption and complex hardware design. According to [4], the challenge facing the future mmWave communication system is to design a low-cost and low-power architecture.
