I. Introduction
Recent years have witnessed a great breakthrough in the development of industrial fields related to automation, especially in automated assembly systems. To start with, assembly plays a principal role in a manufacturing environment where multiple individual parts are joined together within predetermined tolerances to produce a unified entity that possesses some function [1]. Secondly, the employment of mechanized and automated devices such as manipulators to carry out the diverse tasks in an assembly line is known as automated assembly. Finally, an automated assembly system fulfills a series of automated operations based on manipulators, automated conveyor systems, and so on to combine those parts into a unified entity which might be a completed product or subassembly.
