I. Introduction
In recent years, Electric Vehicle (EV) usage has started to increase in order to reduce environmental pollution and fuel consumption [1]. Developments in drive and battery technology, the use of efficient electric motors, and safe driving increase use of EVs [2]. Despite their many advantages to the environment and drivers, the increase in the usage of EVs brings some new challenges for the power grid. EVs are considered as the mobile loads in the system rather than a static load [3]. As a result of that, and with the increase in the amount of load, the EV loads should be forecasted, and accordingly some actions might be taken in order to maintain the system stability. Therefore, modeling charging characteristics of EVs, as well as their energy requirements is crucial for distribution system and microgrid operators.
