I. Introduction
Pressure measurements of foot sole have been in clinical use for decades, such as in digital human modeling, gait studies and in foot deformity diagnoses. It provides a direct foot-to-the-ground measurement, and outputs the stress distribution directly of the contact area, which is extremely helpful to the biomechanics analysis. There are many clinical studies [1]–[5] about the applications of plantar pressure measurements, but few of them fully utilized the distribution information of stress, due to the difficulties in automatically and dynamically extracting effective information from plantar pressure. This article presents a new method that can automatically annotate the image of plantar pressure, which can be transfered to other similar plantar pressure parsing tasks easily.
