I. Introduction
Self-driving vehicles of the future will have to perform a multitude of tasks to facilitate its end-goal of safe navigation, including sensing and perception, localization, mapping of obstacles and path finding. In a cooperative driving setting, large amounts of data will have to be communicated between vehicles (V2V) and between vehicles and infrastructure (V2X). With the commercialization of 5G communication technology and the associated transmission of data with higher frequencies, such as the mmWave band, interference with radar waves has become a possibility.
