I. Introduction
Analog-to-digital converters are key elements in control systems of commercial on-board equipment of spacecraft (SC) in applications such as radar, telecommunications, data collection, automatic control, etc. They provide fast, accurate and efficient conversion of analog values into digital data for further processing [1], [2]. Failure of such a key element as ADC entails a failure of the whole system [3], [4]. Thus, it becomes relevant to have a complete description of the behavior of modern VLSI ADC/DAC during operation in space radiation environment.
