1. INTRODUCTION
Speech enhancement aims to increase the perceptual quality and intelligibility of an input signal. Specifically, when an input signal is comprised of a target speaker, interference in the form of non-target speakers, and noise, such as babble, reverberation, stationary and non-stationary sounds, etc., the goal of speech enhancement is to recover the target speaker signal from the mix. Naturally, there are many practical applications in automatic speech recognition systems, telecommunication and teleconferencing systems, and hearing aids.
