I. Introduction
In recent days, tremendous surge in the usage of internet surfing led us to deal with transmission of high bandwidth applications such as video downloading, social networking, cloud computing, video conferencing etc [1]. To combat this challenging issue, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) [2] based Elastic optical network (EON) has evolved out as the backbone technology to meet the high bandwidth demand as well Data Centers (DC) have emerged as the key infrastructure [3] to store billions of data [4] and large number of files along with processing capability. High expenditure associated with such DCs limits its placement in some of the nodes in the network. At times, due to disasters [5], failure of single link/node in DC oriented EON leads to huge data loss which makes survivability of EON a big issue [3].
