I. Introduction
Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs when the pancreas is no longer able to make insulin, or when the body cannot make good use of the insulin it produces. Diabetics have an increased risk of developing a number of serious health problems. Consistently high blood glucose level can lead to serious diseases affecting the heart and blood vessels, eyes, kidneys, nerves and teeth. In addition, diabetics also have a higher risk of developing infections [1]. According to the International Diabetes Federation statistics, about 425 million adults have diabetes, 4 million adults died from diabetes in 2017. It is estimated that there will be nearly 700 million diabetics in 2045. China is the country with the largest number of diabetics in the world. This fact indicates that we have not done enough in the management and control of diabetes. Based on the current urgent and serious situation, diabetes has become the chronic disease that seriously threatens the health of residents. Therefore, the prevention and treatment of diabetes can't be delayed.
