Abstract:
Based on the analysis of the development of aeronautical surveillance systems, we conclude about the trend of widespread implementation of all types of automatic dependent surveillance equipment of the broadcasting type (ADS-B) on aircrafts. We point out such significant defect of ADS-B as vulnerability to “spoofing”, which neutralizing demands to use some method of verification of observation data. As such a method, we propose to use a semi-active coherent radioelectronic system with a illumination from a digital television transmitter - a bistatic radar. The principle of functioning of bistatic radar is briefly considered. We perform substantiation of the main potentially attainable characteristics of a three-coordinate bistatic radar: the discrimination with respect to range and angular coordinates, the accuracy of measurement of the range and the angular coordinates, the accuracy of determining the position of the aircraft in space. The technique to calculate the working area is considered. On the example of specific airport “Platov” such working area of a bistatic radar is built. The results of mathematical modeling and their analysis are presented.
