I. Introduction
The technological progress at the end of the 20th century caused that the old and inconvenient methods of gathering geospatial information were replaced by modern technology that completely revolutionized the work of engineers. This technology includes laser scanning. Currently, the terrestrial and airborne laser scanning is the most modern and the most convenient form of data collection, and they owe their popularity primarily to the efficiency and high accuracy of the development compared to previously used measurement methods.
