I. Introduction
The field of wireless sensor networks finds innumerable applications in agriculture, of which, several research problems have already been addressed. Most of these research literatures available address problems such as energy efficiency, use of sensors to drive irrigation pumps, the prospective use of solar energy in agriculture [1]–[25] But all of these issues have considered only the single cropping scenario. This work is done to study the requirements of a multiple cropping scenario and propose a solution with a system design perspective.
