I. Introduction
Brain tumor is a fibrous mesh of unwanted tissue growth inside our brain. The tissue is definitely unwanted but the actual problem arises when it continues to grow randomly. Its undesired growth begins to hamper our normal brain operations. At present deaths due to brain tumor has become enormously significant and catastrophic. Many researches are continuing towards its detection and cure. Brain tumors can be detected using MRI scans by the doctor. Magnetic resonance images (MRIs) are a rich source of information for brain tumor diagnosis and treatment [1], [2]. In the hassle of the large number of patients and the long queue lines an automated system would be of a great benefit to both the doctor and patient. Hence, an automated detection scheme is required.
