I. Introduction
Terahertz (THz) band, which has wideband available spectrum resource, becomes more attractive for high exchange data-rate wireless communication system, such as short distance secret communication and information exchange. The electromagnetic wave has serious atmospheric transmission loss in the THz band. The low-noise amplifiers and power amplifiers are still too expensive or even no products available in the THz band. The linear polarization beam easily results in seriously mismatching loss. Therefore, a wideband high-gain circular-polarized (CP) array antenna is necessary to improve the performance of THz wireless communication systems. However, considering complex feeding networks, wideband high-gain CP array antennas will meet more and more challenges due to the fabrication limitation when the operating wavelength becomes shorter.
