I. Introduction
Wireless body area networks play an imperative role in health care. On-body communication plays a vital role in meeting the increased need of telemedicine and health monitoring. Intense research activities are carried on for the development of appropriate remote diagnosis or monitoring systems [1]. For optimum performance, the antennas used for on-body communication need to be flexible, durable while providing a reliable communication link. The antenna should also satisfy the Federal Communications Commission requirements concerning human safety for wearable electronics.
