I. Introduction
Medical Imaging is used to capture 2D cross-sectional images of the human body for clinical purposes. MR imaging supersedes other medical imaging techniques in terms of its distinctive microscopic chemical and physical information of molecules. It is a non-invasive method and uses strong magnetic fields and non-ionizing radiation to distinguish different organs and tissues. In multi-slice MRI, multiple 2D slices are captured to form a 3D volume of the desired body part. However, the resolution of the images are reduced to allow faster acquisition time and reduce noise [2].
