I. Introduction
TOROIDAL field coils form the core of the ITER tokamak Magnet System (MS) which operates to generate magnetic field for plasma confinement and therefore provides needed conditions for the fusion reaction [1]. The Toroidal field coils are wound of Nb3Sn based cable-in-conduit conductor (CICC) and those windings are exposed to high magnetic field of up to 12 T [1], [2].
