I. Introduction
Now a days RADAR FIR filters are developed in CORDIC structure for high speed operation. CORDIC Structures are used widely in Discrete Cosine Transform, Fourier Transform, calculation of sine and cosine function because of it's simple shifter and adder architecture [1]. The speed and space occupied by CORDIC structure can be further improved by combining it with KA algorithm. KA algorithm is known for it's high speed operation with reduced chip area [2]. So, by implementing CORDIC structure in KA algorithm the system throughput is increased and it's Chip area is reduced. FIR adaptive filter is designed for RADAR applications. By using adaptive algorithm the signal can be reconstructed to desired wave irrespective of clutter present in the environment [3]. This paper proposes architecture for LMS algorithm by combining CORDIC and KA algorithm.
