Abstract:
To predict three-dimensional structure and binding site of ligand from amino acid sequence of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gammaCTGF protein. The secondary structure and surface properties of CTGF protein such as hydrophilicity, physical and chemical properties, surface probability, flexible regions, motif, transmembrane domain, signal peptide and secondary structure were analyzed to predict its binding site of ligand by bioinformatics methods and means. Many potential bingding sites of ligand were identified. Conclusion: The secondary structure and bingding site of ligand of CTGF protein were predicted successfully by multiparameter. This study provided a foundation for identification of its advantage binding site of ligand and understanding its biological functions on the basis of protein structure.
