I. Introduction
With the growing popularity of wireless sensor networks (WSNs), many sensing elements are used to generate and aggregate information of interest from the real world. People can use sensor data to control servomechanical operations or to monitor the environment. However, sensors in a WSN are generally subject to limitations of hardware resources such as power, memory, and computational ability. Therefore, in this study, we focused on how to efficiently transmit and process sensing data for WSNs.
