I. Introduction
In recent years the introduction of network enabled devices into the home environment has proceeded at an unknown speed. Moreover, with the huge expansion of the Internet, there is an unpredictable potential for the remote control and monitoring of all network enabled devices. But, the new opportunity to increase the network connectivity of devices within the home for the purpose of household automation remains largely unexplored. Modeling of a home automation system for controlling all the various devices in remote locations can be achieved through a variety of communication options such as wireless LAN technologies, dial-up modems, satellite communication, cellular network, Internet and so on.
