I. Introduction
The pathological diagnosis by observing the characteristic changes of glands is crucial for the early detection of colon adenocarcinoma. The shape and structure of the gland are essential parameters to determine the grading and classification of adenocarcinoma. O.Oktay et al. [1] Adenocarcinoma is a malignant tumor caused by lesions of glandular epithelium, of which colon adenocarcinoma is one of the most common types of adenocarcinomas [2]. The classification and another diagnosis of colonic adenocarcinoma can be conducted by finding the small gland tissue containing early lesions from a large number of sections. Therefore, the accurate segmentation of glands is critical for the diagnosis of colonic adenocarcinoma [3]. The segmentation of colon pathological images is the foundation of quantitative pathological analysis and a hotspot of current research.
