I. Introduction
In the past decades, it witnessed the widespread applications of multiagent systems (MASs) in smart grids, transportation systems, underwater vehicles, sensor networks, and so on [1]–[6]. As an interesting consensus control topic, containment control has attracted wide attention in the related field, and more and more scholars have been devoted to research the containment control problem [7]–[12]. The objective of containment control is to make each follower converge into the convex hull formed by the multiple leaders [13]. In [11], the distributed containment control problem for a class of second-order MAS with random switching topologies was studied. In [9], a distributed dynamic state feedback control approach based on output regulation framework was adopted to realize the containment control of heterogeneous linear MASs. Li et al. [12] investigated the problem of output feedback containment control for nonlinear MASs.
