I. Introduction
Interferometry is one of the most important high-precision measurement techniques and has been used in a variety of scientific and industrial fields [1], [2]. By integrating interferometry with optical waveguide technology, fiber optic interferometers were developed and have been employed for sensing applications [3], [4], [5], [6]. Compared to traditional electrical sensors, fiber optic interferometric sensors provide unique advantages in terms of robustness against electromagnetic interference and harsh and corrosive environments, and capabilities for remote operation and multiplexing.
