I. Introduction
To date there has been significant progress in the development of electromagnetic (EM) rail launchers (EMRLs) (see [1]–[3]). This was made possible primarily due to the resolution of a number of technical issues related to the durability and stiffness of such launchers. But still the problem of ensuring the durability and stiffness of EMRL structural elements remains relevant due to the emergence of new launcher designs and application new constructive materials.
