I. Introduction
As an important part of the electromagnetic launch system, the pulsed power supply has become a research hotspot in the field of military equipment [1]–[5]. The inductive pulsed power supply (IPPS) has drawn the researchers’ attentions [6]–[8] with the advantages of high-energy density, simple structure, and fast cooling [9]–[11]. As the most important components in IPPSs, the energy storage inductors directly determine the comprehensive performance and the miniaturization level of the whole system. The design of these inductors should not only satisfy the performance requirements but also maximize the energy density. This problem deserves special attentions and intensive study.
