I. Introduction
The push for high data rates leads to the consideration of very high order QAM constellations such as 1024QAM, 4096QAM especially with mm-wave transmission both in backhaul and radio access networks [1], [2]. However, the nonidealities that exist in a transceiver chain such as power amplifier nonlinearities, local oscillator leakage etc. can distort signals and these effects may diminish the performance significantly. To be more specific, high order QAM schemes can be more sensitive and vulnerable to the nonlinearity of power amplifiers because signal samples corresponding to outermost constellation points are more distorted [3]–[5].
