I. Introduction
Distributed optical fiber sensors (DOFSs) are a type of sensors that use optical fibers as the sensing element. They can measure a wide range of physical parameters, such as temperature, strain, and vibration along the fiber. DOFS have several advantages over traditional sensors. They are immune to electromagnetic interference, have high sensitivity and accuracy, and can cover long distances [1], [2]. Because of their good performance, DOFSs have been extensively deployed and provided solutions for areas, such as pipeline safety [3], perimeter safety [4], railway transportation [5], health detection of facilities and structures [6], and seismic monitoring [7].
