I. Introduction
The quantity discount contract (contract QD) is widely used in practice. This contract type can coordinate a supply chain (SC) while maximizing the supplier's profit [1], [2] because it can control retailer's behavior by offering retailer's discounts proportional to the order quantity and motivating them to place more orders [3], [4]. While receiving larger orders from retailers could be what suppliers want, the retailers also benefit from discounted prices.
